We write you from the Granada County Council and, in particular, from the provincial development delegation of the Granada County Council. This Delegation was founded at the end of 1993 to promote local development of our municipalities and the Province as a whole.
With regards of your project proposal, the coastal area of the Province of Granada is involved in the confluence of complex flows such;
the urban development,
the development of intensive agriculture (greenhouses) and the production of subtropical crops,
the pressure from tourism activities,
the protection of natural and marine environments.For these reasons, from our County, we have focused our effort to develop strategic planning programmes that contributes to order all the flows that converge in our coast area. In particular in the framework of our territorial planning observatory which objective is the effective and efficient cooperation in the planning and territorial planning of the province of Granada, via the carrying out of technical studies, projects and studies that require local entities in the province to encourage the economic promotion and development of its territories, establishing the following lines of work:
a) Access to a socio-economic information system that provides useful data to local entities for the development of studies, plans and projects, and up-to-date socio-economic reports with municipal reference data compared to provincial data and data from more local areas supported with graphic and cartographic material.
b) Identification, classification and analysis of strategic actions in the province Carrying out of viability plans on these actions; study of resources and funding that permit their execution at provincial level.
c) Identification of background documents for sustainable economic and social development and realisation of development plans for appropriate strategic planning at provincial level.
d) Design of strategic territorial plans that address an analysis of the needs and challenges of socio-economic promotion, having an influence on strategic sectors as a motor of territorial development.In addition, we have a large experience in the management of European projects.

The Institute for Archaeological and Monumental Heritage of the National Research Council (IBAM-CNR, Italy) is an interdisciplinary scientific centre with high expertise and specialized skills concerning the study of technologies used for:
– managing cultural information systems,
– cataloguing methods for the study of tangible and intangible archaeological heritage,
– developing embedded laboratories on bio archaeology, archaeometry and communication,
