    Agenzia Regionale Lavoro Lombardia (ARIFL)

    Located in Milan, ARIFL provides technical assistance to the Regional Government within the frame of employment and local development policies and programmes.
    It cooperates with the Regional Ministry for Education, Training and Employment and the Regional Ministry for Productive Activities, Research and Innovation thus promotes integration of policies and instruments at regional level. Furthermore, the Agency represents the Regional Government in the national working joint meeting and in specific sectorial working groups on industrial relations led by the National Ministries for Economic Development and for Labour and Social Policy.
    ARIFL main activities include programming and management of framework actions, pilot initiatives and innovative government models. It contributes to the achievement of the Regional Development Goals. In particular:
    Local development and social innovation: ARIFL plays a key role in promoting dialogue among stakeholders and bridges the gap between SMEs and local institutional bodies through counselling and assistance services. It favours integration of tools and funds

    Promotion of social dialogue and industrial relations: advice support to entrepreneurs and workers representatives as for dismissal disputes and failure cases at regional level, procedures for the delivery of unemployment benefit schemes, participation to regional and national sectorial task forces (ICT, Agrofood, household industry appliance, Customer Care Center services, etc);
    Favour the adoption of regional instruments aimed at business development and restructuring: through a comprehensive monitoring and assistance process of business failure cases it favour the development of innovative tools such as fast recovery models, re start-up initiatives, restructuring processes. To this end, it contributes to the implementation of Lombardy Region ESFR OP ;
    Evaluation of the Competitiveness Agreement Initiative outlined by the new regional law on Attractiveness and Development approved in 2014 (Regional law n.11/2014);
    Management and coordination of pilot initiatives dealing with re-launch of dismissed areas, start-up, enterprise recovery solutions;
    Design, programming and implementation of Lombardy ESF and ERDF Operational Programmes (dote system, vocational training vouchers, social inclusion projects, initiatives addressing people at a disadvantage or risk of unemployment, European Youth Guarantee, Competitiveness Agreements, Social Enterprises development);
