Tanit MirBioib is the biotech and biomedical cluster of the Balearic Islands. It aims to bring together the players in the triple helix to promote the competitiveness and the regional development of the sector through the cooperation of its members and the innovation.
Right now, we have 28 members from the Biotech and biomedical sector, including: marine biotechnology, health sciences, agri-food and environmental engineering and bioinformatics. In 2016, we were recognized with the distinctive “Silver label of Excellence in cluster managing” by the ESCA, and at the present we are the coordinators of a COSME project funded under the Excellence Cluster Programme 2015.
It is important to highlight that, we have permanently open a program to support empreneurship and the creation of new companies, start ups, based on the research results or business ideas. From the cluster we help them find funds to develop their projects and in a sector like ours, red biotechnology, the need for investment is higher than in other sectors and for this reason is really interesting for us to participate in your project and work on the creation of a mediterranean network of investors. Also, I would like to point out that one of our companies, SANIFIT, obtained the highest capitalization received in Spain in 2015 and the tenth in Europe.
If you consider that BIOIB could fit in your project, please contact:

The Provincial Council of Granada (Spain) is interesting in your project idea. We are a local public administration that represents 172 municipalities as provincial government.
Promoting the creation of new enterprises is one of our targets, given that it is a way to sort out the very high unemployment rate of our territory.
This is why we have a Department only devoted to it. They attend entrepreneurs from an integral point of view. They also support new enterprises for their consolidation. And tehy also give support to technician of the town councils of the province to assist entrepreneurs and companies who ask them for guidance.(You can see more information about services they offer in: http://www.granadaempresas.es)
We have very long and wide experiences in the design and implementation of European projects, as leaders and as partners. Actually I write you from the European Projects Office of the Provincial Council of Granada.
The Enterprises Department and the European Projects Office are part of a bigger Department devoted to promote socioeconomic development of our Province: Delegation of Employment and Sustainable Development.
I attach here a document where you can see more information about our organization and our experience in European projects.
If you consider we can collaborate, please contact us:
