Institute for health and food safety Zenica is interested for an active partnership within 2nd MED Call for proposals.
Institute for health and food safety Zenica is first and only public institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina and probably Region, which combines Public health and Veterinary (two Institutes merged in one in 2015.) with an aim to provide overall and efficient approach to human health and health services. Institute has around 100 employees, more than 80% with University degree. We are very proactive, initiative, innovative, advocative, market and project oriented public institution looking for partners in different projects for different Calls for proposals. We can work in field of public health, environment (related to human health), veterinary, school children health related issues, epidemiology, microbiology, research and other related topics. Basically we can work in every other field (entrepreneurship, tourism etc) since there is one key principle in EU “Health in all policies” which ensures that every project and activity is health related and has to be health associated. With great and “out of box” understanding of importance of this principle we can be suitable partner in many projects. Unlike any other health institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Institute has Department for international cooperation and projects through which we have applied to different IPA cross – border projects as Lead Applicant and partners in transnational programmes.
