Mechanical Engineering Faculty Sarajevo (MEF) has more that 55 years of tradition in higher education and provision of technical support to local development, having highly qualified experts and being independent and market oriented consulting, scientific and research institution, widely recognized as reliable partner.
MEF is interested for partnerships within the Mediterranean programme in the following areas:
Priority axis 1, Specific Objective 1.1: To increase transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks of key sectors of the MED area.
MEF research and technical expertise support relates to the fields of blue and green growth with development perspectives, targeting innovative industrial solutions and community based innovations, with increased citizen engagement in the processes of research and innovation and targeting developing entrepreneurship and SMEs.Priority axis 2, Specific Objective 2.1: To raise capacity for better management of energy in public buildings at transnational level; Specific Objective 2.2: To increase the share of renewable local energy sources in energy mix strategies and plans in MED territories and Specific Objective 2.3: To increase capacity to use existing low carbon transport systems and multimodal connections among them
MEF research and technical expertise support relates to the areas of fostering low carbon strategies and energy efficiency in the cities, primarily focusing to the energy efficiency, renewable energy production and use, and low carbon mobility, also recognized as MED strategic directions. MEF has vast experience in developing relevant energy strategies and related capacity building through tailored training and introducing different practiced, so as in awareness raising activities, energy needs and supply analyses, feasibility studies and similar.If you have similar objectives and are looking for a partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina, please contact us at prodekannir@mef.unsa.ba

We ENERCOUTIM are looking to submit a proposal under Objective 2.2, with goal of increasing RES share in island and rural test sites via an adapted model of our solar energy platform.
