The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) is a non-profit research institution based in Barcelona, resulting from a public initiative of the Regional Government of Catalonia. In our Remote Sensing division at CTTC, a commercial system is available for experimental data acquisitions to provide non-invasive monitoring aimed at studying the vibration characteristics and retrieving the modal behaviour of civil structures. This is key to study the seismic response of civil structures and infrastructures. The implementation of a new radar prototype is now under development. We offer our expertise in microwave interferometry for measuring the vibration characteristics of civil structures and infrastructures (i.e. bridges, towers and buildings). As an institute, we have a wide experience with successful procurement of H2020 and other European projects as team leader and associate partners.
