    Hallo,
I’m writing on behalf of municipality of Vibo Valentia, We think your project proposal was very interesting for the city and we would like from you to consider us as possible partners.
Vibo Valentia is a city and comune (municipality) in the Calabria region of southern Italy, on the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is the capital of the province of Vibo Valentia, and is an agricultural, commercial and tourist center (the most famous places nearby are Tropea, Ricadi and Pizzo).
    Main sights
    – Norman-Hoehenstaufen Castle, located most likely on the site of Hipponion acropolis, and built around 1000. For its construction materials from the Greek temples nearby were used. It was damaged by an earthquake in 1783. Today the castle is home to archaelogical museum.
    – Walls of Hipponion, including about 350 metres (1,150 ft) of remains and foundations of eight towers, each with an estimated height of 10 metres (33 ft).
    – Church of Santa Maria Maggiore e San Leoluca (Cathedral), built in the 9th century over the remains of a Byzantine basilica. It has an 18th-century marble high altar with a 16th-century sculpture of “Madonna della Neve”, and a Renaissance triptych.
Church of Santa Ruba (c. 1000), built by Pope Callixtus II. It has a large cupola in Oriental style.
Church of the Rosario (c. 1337), located over a Roman temple. Originally in Gothic style, it was remade after the 1783 earthquake.

    Dear Mr. Aguilar,
Your proposal seems very interesting. I am writing on behalf of the Municipality of Kea, a Cycladic Island in Greece. Kea has a special cultural heritage related to the sea, as it is an important diving destination with known wrecks (e.g. HMSH Britannic). The Municipality is interested in promoting alternative maritime tourism, in order to combine the sustainable development and the emergence of local natural wealth and the environmental awareness.

If you are interested please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you in advance for your time and attention.

    Dear all,

I represent AcrossLimits, a technology company with extensive experience in European projects. We are based in Malta, where our economy is heavily reliant on tourism. Pushing for cultural preservation and sustainable tourism is a passion of ours and we can think of many ways in which we can contribute to your project proposal. We have experience in website, platform, mobile-app, creation and it would be very interesting to set up mobile applications on a cultural trail across different spots which are not so well known. We have also expertise in game development, which would be a great feature to the project to raise awareness of historical aspects or to include as a challenge in the cultural trail.

I look forward to hearing back from you with more ideas so we can discuss this further.

Please get in touch on alessandra@acrosslimits.com

    Thank you!

    Dear Mr. Mario Aguilar,

We find very interesting your project proposal.

Please, find below a general information about our institution:

The Legacy of al-Andalus Andalusian Public Foundation is run by the Regional Government of Andalusia (Spain). Our actions are developed in all Andalusia region. Our main activities are cultural and tourist and we have experience in different European projects (as leaders and partners).
Our Routes, the Routes of El legado andalusí, represents the biggest cultural tourism offer existing today in southern Spain; through an extensive itinerary that includes more than 200 towns, they connect the main capital cities of Andalusia.

The Routes of El legado andalusí were designated in 2004 as Major Cultural Itinerary of the Council of Europe; From our headquarters at the Pavilion of al-Andalus and Science (Granada, Spain) (4,477m2), the Foundation carries out a good number of didactic activities and workshops to raise awareness on the Foundation’s labour and to promote its Cultural Itineraries and Tourist Routes.

Concerning European Projects, the Foundation has participated as leader or partner in different programs INTERREG IVC, POCTEP, POCTEFEX, GRUNDVIGT, LEONARDO and ENPI-CROSS BORDER COOPERATION. All of them focused on education, culture, tourism and social integration. Nowadays, we are leader of Umayyad project (ENPI-CROSS BORDER COOPERATION):

At Mediterranean level, tourism has often led many countries and regions to develop the industry in a competitive way rather than in a cooperative manner. For obvious climatic reasons but also due the role played by tour operators, Mediterranean tourism destinations have based their growth essentially on a “sun and sea” vision and developed strategies aimed at maximizing short term profits instead of addressing the needs and expectations of customers and residents. In this sense, there is a real need to adopt and introduce new consumer models translated into environmentally friendly tourism products, respecting natural resources and diversifying the seasonal nature of tourism demand. The UMAYYAD project contributes to this objective by promoting sustainable tourism based on the synergies derived from the design of a cross-border itinerary between 6 countries sharing common history and cultural background.

    Our main skills are:
-Management and coordination of European projects experience.
    -Mobility (Grundtvig) activities and experience.
    -Organization of cultural activities experience.
    -Organization of Educational activities experience.
-Organization of tourist activities and experience. (Routes of The Legacy of al-Andalus).
-Planification and materialization of tourist Routes.
-Experience in organization of activities with stakeholders, companies and entrepreneurs.
-Experience in organization of activities related with traditional and contemporary arts and crafts.
More than 60 themed exhibitions organized, more than 3,200,000 people have visited these exhibitions, which have implied the biggest movement of museum pieces ever carried out in Spain. Editorial work, having published more than 80 books in several collections on themed matters.

    Dear Mario,

My name is Chatzilamprou Ismini and I am writing to you on behalf of the Region of Thessaly in Greece.

Your project idea is one of high interest to us. Thessaly Region is a place with strong attachments to social, cultural and religious heritage. It is also a region of high seasonal tourism, especially in summer time, due to the coast and the Sporades Islands. Combining these two beautiful sides of the area into responsible and sustainable tourism, is what would be best for the region and its inhabitants.

Our R&D team has a big experience in EU projects, on different project programs and of different disciplines and has previous experience in MED projects.

If you are interested in having the Region as a partner, please contact us at: topoismini@gmail.com. I will be at your disposal for any further information you might need.

    Best regards,
    Ismini

    Dear colleagues,

We think your project proposal was very interesting for our municipality and we would like from you to consider us as possible partners.

The Municipality of Medulin set along 80 kilometers of indented coastline, for several years is one of the most attractive tourist destination on the Croatian Adriatic sea. Year after year we have an increasing number of arrivals and overnight stays, especially during the summer time.
We have a large number of protected cultural and natural heritage. In the Municipality of Medulin there are four protected areas: Kašteja Forest Park, Soline Hill Forest Park near Vinkuran, significant landscape of Upper Kamenjak and significant landscape of Lower Kamenjak and the Medulin Archipelago. Lower Kamenjak and the Medulin Archipelago (known as Punta or just Cape Kamenjak) is one of the most interesting places to visit and enjoy real nature. The reasons for this are certainly beautiful landscapes, nature and biodiversity. Kamenjak is also an ideal place for an active holiday were visitors can walk, ride a bike, kayak, surf, play paintball, etc. Regarding cultural heritage, municipality is an exceptionally valuable archaeological site that was settled from the Neolithic until the early Middle Ages. Besides, one of the problems we have to face is the seasonality of tourism and problems derived from it such as the huge pressures on environment.
Our idea is to reduce seasonality by giving the additional value on cultural and natural heritage ,preserve and enhance the artistic and cultural identity, empower potentials for sport and health tourisam developement and decrease the enviromental pressure, especially on natural protected areas.
Our city administration have experience in notification and implementation of EU projects (eg Europe for Citizens “AGRI TWIN”,INTERREG PHARE Slovenia-Hungary-Croatia 2004-2006 “KaPo”, etc.).

Please let us know if you think that we could still participate as partners in your project.
We would be grateful if you could send us a projectual draft and/or additional explanations about the project.

Looking forward to receiving your news, with our best regards,
