Coherently with the specific objective 2.1 of MED Programme Osimo Municipality would like to become partner in a project proposal aimed to reinforce the capacities of public administrations to optimize energy planning measures leading to a reduction of energy consumption and a better management of energy in public buildings and public lighting.
The Municipality of Osimo is located on the middle East of Italy (Marche region), near the Adriatic Sea coast, with a population of over 30.000 inhabitants.
The municipality is now strongly engaged in the improvement of its policies, in order to make them more sustainable. The 18th June 2015 it officially became member of the Covenant of Mayors and now it is working in the definition of its Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP).
