I would like to recommend Medjimurje energy agency ltd. as a potential project partner to be involved in Your project proposal.
Medjimurje energy agency ltd. (acronym MENEA) was established in year 2008 as a part of the EU project financed from Intelligent Energy – Europe (IEE). Agency establishment was initiated by County of Medjimurje and Regional development agency REDEA. County of Medjimurje is also MENEA’s single owner. MENEA was founded having in mind a goal of promoting idea of sustainable development in accordance with actual needs in the area of the County of Medjimurje while promoting use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Energy Efficiency (EE), which is in line with strategic goal of the County.
MENEA’s business activities include a wide range of activities through which information, technical and other needs of public and private sector in area of RES and EE are satisfied. Among others, MENEA’s activities include providing information and advises regarding energy through information and promotion channels, ie. web site, organizing seminars and workshops, projects implementation and through everyday direct contact with citizens and business community.
Since County of Medjimurje is our only owner, and the County owns many schools on it’s territory, we are mainly in charge for energy efficiency in school buildings. Also, this year we completed an ETC (ex IPA) SI-HR program project which dealt with energy efficiency in buildings so we have gained a lot of useful experience and connections in this segment.
