Dear Anna,
I represent the Energy Agency of la Ribera (AER – Agencia Energètica de la Ribera), a public Spanish energy agency created by two associations of municipalities (45 villages) with the objective of promoting sustainable development in our territory. We are really interested in your topic because we are sure that only introducing RES (local or int-site energy production) we’ll be able to accomplish the goals of 2010/31/EU directive concerning Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings.
For that reason AER has been working in the promotion of self-consumption PV plants in public building using a energy supply contract scheme.
We are interested in getting more info about your proposal. Thank you very much.

Theodoros StaurakasDear Anna,
I represent Environmental Centre of Western Macedonia, Greece which is a Regional Enterprise, in our facilities we operate small scale pilot technologies renewable energy park including solar, wind and biogas technologies.
The energy produced in the park is used in order to cover some of our needs.
We are regional enterprise (owners of public building) and according to your proposal we can be involved in two dimensions first by implementing a case study in our facilities since we opperate a small scale Renewable Energy park, promoting the use regionally (since we are regional enterprise and visits from schools in our region are more than 1000 students per year) and also we can support the feasibility study since we employ the staff needed for this action.
So we can offer a case study for public building (not school) but we can communicate our results to school since yearly more than 1000 students visit our park.Theodor Staurakas

Eva KyriakouDear Ms. Franco,
I am contacting you on behalf of the City Council of Almeria because we would like to express our interest in the project you are preparing for the MED call.
The Municipality of Almeria is a local public institution which actively promotes policies of urban revitalization in line with sustainable policies. It has been already involved in 2 URBACT II projects reflecting social inclusion as well as development of economic activity in the historical centre of the city. The Municipality is well aware of the need to implement innovative practices for creating a revitalised urban center and is eager to play a substantial role in the elaboration of such activities.
Some of the issues the city is facing and would like to address through this project are mentioned below:
-The city has undertaken recently an ambitious project to renovate the city center (where most of the historical buildings are located), but still needs to “attract” econocic activity and population.
-We are trying to promote “Energy efficiency” in all the renovations
-Due in part also to the financial crisis (with owners not able to invest in them) we have many abandoned areas and buidings that could be used in better ways.Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
I look forward to hearing back from you.Kind regards,
Eva Kyriakou-

I am writing on behalf of a local authority in Malta who is interested in your project idea as they are planning to test a renewable energy project on a public school within their locality. They do not have the expertise on this project in-house and will thus seek collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Malta to cover the technical and research aspects.
If you are interested to have a Maltese partner on board, we can be of assistance as we have experience on previous MED projects related with the funding period 2007-2013.
If you are interested in our offer to join your partnership, I kindly ask you to contact me on eman@atrigaconsult.com

José António FalcãoDear Anna
We would like to indicate our interest to study the possibility of becoming a Portuguese partner of your consortium.
Established 1984, the “Departamento do Património Histórico e Artístico da Diocese de Beja” [DPHA] (Department of Historical and Artistic heritage, Catholic Diocesis of Beja) is a pioneer ONG, operating with national, regional and local authorities, in safeguarding the religious heritage. In particular, it is in charge of the cultural heritage of the Beja region, in the South of Portugal, between the Atlantic ocean and the Spanish border. The Diocese of Beja keeps over 200.000 inventoried works of art in churches, monasteries, convents and museums and over 500 buildings.
Perhaps we can participate with our experience and with one of our public buildings.
