The Municipality of Sarzana, Italy, is in the process of conducting a study aimed at defining the new urban mobility plan. It was also recently prepared a new plan of city parking areas, aimed at optimizing a balanced parking with fee and free services. To date, we haven’t identified incentives with regard to freight management but we plan to regulate more precisely the load/unload goods related to small town trade. We would like to study alternative methods regarding the delivery of goods in the historic center than is the case so far. Creating, for example, areas specially prepared for the concentration of loading / unloading, immediately behind the historic center, progressively restrict road traffic within it.

The Municipality is interested in participating in proposlas on Urban transports as partner/end-user.

    Cordiali saluti
