Massimo BardeaThe thematic field is about the development of a sustainable tourism model focused on electric mobility , the fruition and valorization of the most interesting places of the territory in terms of architecture, landscape, culture, food and wine.
Electric mobility represents an effective innovative tools to allow the touristic fruition of a territory in areas invoved in the project and located very near urban centers. Actors that operate in the field of touristic promotion of these territories (public administrations, promotion consortiums, trade associations) have to plan and create a management model capable to allow an effective and efficient implementation of tools and infrastructures to guarantee the touristic fruition of the territory by sustainable mobility.
Objective The general objective is to develop a sustainable tourism model capable to guarantee an effective and efficient exploitation of electric mobility for the touristic fruition within the areas involved in the project. This model will allow the valorization of the territory and its landscape and culture. The project will focus on these aspects:
• The incentivisation of tourism flows from areas that are very near and abroad;
• The promotion of the accessibility and the knowledge of touristic places (charging points, the organization of touristic intineraries, etc.);
• The creation of a network of collaboration between private actors and public authorities;
• The transformation of electric mobility weaknesses into opportunities for tourism offer (slow charging connected to restaurants and tourism);
• The planning of a charging network for electric vehicles and bicycle stations (Electric pedal assisted cycles and usual bicylce);
• The exploitation of renewable resources to charge vehicles;
• The creation of a logo to promote the touristic offer and an Internet service to make the tourism easier.
Project actions and duration • Action 1: The collection and analysis of studies, researches and best practices that regards sustainable mobility and tourism;
• Action 2: The construction of a general action plan to achieve project objectives and the creation of operative plans about every pilot area to introduce land labs (urban labs at local level) and define monitoring criteria to assess the strategies implemented;
• Action 3:
◦ The realization of a land lab for every pilot area in which to develop meausers adopted in operative plans;
◦ The creation pf an “international learning platform” as place where to share information, experineces, expertise and best practices by partners;
◦ The construction of an app to manage tourism and mobility services and the creation of a logo as simbol of the sustainable touristic offer;
• Action 4: Communication and dissemination of results;
• Aciton 5: Project management.Results • Increase of the touritisc fruition of territories involved in the project;
