Victoria GomezADEIT, a world-leading organisation with its own legal personality, promoted by the Consell Social of the University of Valencia in 1989, whose objective is (I) making companies able to advantage of the capacities of the University and (II) to serve as a channel to transmit to the University the needs of companies and the productive sector, looks for a Lead Partner and Partners to develop its project idea.
Our aim is to focus on Axis1: Innovation (Specific objective 1: To increase transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks of key sectors of the MED area) and our scope is to improve the Mediterranean companies’ innovative index. The project will be based on three main concepts:
• Attraction: we will attract and host talents from all around Europe to MED countries
• Linkage: we will share innovative clusters, knowledge and transnational activities within the MED area involved and Europe in the above-named sectors
• Retention: we will create the condition to retain talents (hopefully 3 years) to strongly support companies’ innovative development processWe want to involve companies, entrepreneurs, universities and research centres and it will be focus on the following sectors: Blue growth; Green Growth; Creative and cultural Industries; Social Innovation.
Regarding Adeit.
Our main activities include:
1.Training, specialisation and further education of university students and professionals.
2.Placements for university students and graduates in companies and organisations of the Valencia region and in other European Union countries.
3.Advice on job search or business creation.
4.Spreading of the entrepreneurial spirit.
5.Supporting innovation and the transfer of technology and knowledge.
6.Management and participation in European projects.
Our figures:
• More than 800 agreements and contracts promoted and managed
• 3,313 editions of postgraduate specialisation
• 996 distance learning courses
• More than 80,000 students have completed a postgraduate course or specialisation
• More than 12,000 people around the world have attended at least one of the 82 conferences organised by ADEIT
• More than 115,000 student placements
• More than 4,000 placement tutors
• More than 16,000 different international companies have welcomed students
• More than 17,000 graduates have received training and advice to find work through different programmes
• More than 3,000 student placements in other EU countries
• More than 1,300 European companies have welcomed fellowsADEIT has been recently recognised by the European Commission as one of the best 20 cases in enhancing entrepreneurial spirit in Higher Education Entities for its participation in the Business Culture Chair of the University of Valencia.
