«THREE THIRDS SOCIETY» is a Non-Profit Organization, whose main aim is to improve the quality of life of people belonging to disadvantaged/vulnerable social groups, support their integration or reintegration in society and labor market, support economic development in areas facing acute economic and social problems etc. Our target social groups include people with disabilities, long-term unemployed, unemployed women, unemployed over 45 years old, unemployed young people, women-mothers in single parent families, women victims of abuse, people belonging in different racial and religious groups, people with cultural differences, released from prison, drug users / former drug users, people in poverty, juvenile offenders, etc.
We would like to express our interest to participate as partners in the INTERREG MED Program. Our activities include planning and implementation of workshops, conferences and seminars on issues related to disadvantaged/vulnerable social groups, elaboration of studies, business plans, strategies and action plans for policy issues on social inclusion for disadvantaged/vulnerable social groups, planning, managing, implementing and evaluating activities and programmes of human resources development for unemployed and employees belonging in disadvantaged/vulnerable social groups, participating in relevant projects etc.
THREE THIRDS SOCIETY has been actively involved in European Cooperation Programs and is eager to share and exchange good practices and ideas that aim to improve Mediterranean development strategies. Our expertise can be valuable not only in projects that directly deal with disadvantaged/vulnerable social groups, but actually to any project addressing the public, since disadvantaged/vulnerable social groups constitute a large percentage of the general population in every country and indeed in Greece.
