Jaume AlbertíDear colleagues,
This is to offer the participation of the chair as a partner under the following call for applications (2nd call for proposals- from 30th Jan to 30 March). The chair is located in Barcelona and is open to collaborate with partners that want to include Life Cycle Assessment or related environmental impacts measurement tools in their projects.
The UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change has participated and / or coordinated numerous national and international projects on life cycle analysis (LCA), ecodesign, green procurement and environmental communication (ecolabels) of products, carbon and water footprints, governance in environmental management and integration of social and economic aspects into environmental impact assessments.

giacomo giustoDear collegues,
Città Metropolitana di Catania, expresses its interest to join in your project proposal as a partner
Our body has some features that we think make it potentially qualified in this regard:
– it covers a territory characterized by two important UNESCO sites: one cultural (the baroque of Catania) and one environmental (Etna), as well as valuable rural and coastal itineraries with distinct environmental, cultural and gastronomic characteristics
– it has many years of experience on the participation in transnational cooperation projects.
Waiting for your kind reply

Jaume AlbertíDear Giacomo (Which means Jaume in Catalan!),
We are not proposing a project in this field so far but offering our will to partner in the case you feel a Life Cycle Assessment could be interesting in your project proposals.
Feel free to contact at jaume.alberti@esci.upf.edu if you have a project where environmental assessment through LCA adds value.
Best regards,
