The Interreg MED Programme is pleased to inform you that the first call for Horizontal projects of the 2014-2020 programming period is now open to programme priority axes 1, 2 and 3 and their specific objectives. For a detailed description of contents of programme specific objectives and the horizontal projects modalities, including information on possible actions, beneficiaries and target groups, please refer to section 2 of the Interreg MED Cooperation Programme adopted by the European Commission on 2nd June 2015 and to the relevant Terms of Reference. Under this call a project proposal must focus on only one programme specific objective (or only one sub-thematic in the case of the priority axis 1).
The indicative ERDF allocation for this call is 9.0M€ (3.6M€ for priority axis 1; 3.0M€ for priority axis 2 and 2.4M€ for priority axis 3). The final allocation is subject to further decisions of the Interreg MED Programme Monitoring Committee.
The indicative IPA allocation for this call is 370.000€ (50 000€ per each project under priority axis 1 and 3 and 40 000€ per each project under priority axis 2). The final allocation is subject to further decisions of the Interreg MED Programme Monitoring Committee. The availability of IPA funds is also subject to the signature of the Financing Agreement between the MED Programme Managing Authority, the European Commission and each one of the concerned IPA countries.
Proposals must be submitted electronically using the on-line monitoring tool of the Interreg MED Programme, SYNERGIE CTE. The system will be open from 10th November 2015. Please read very carefully the sections 2.2 and 3.1.2 of the Programme Manual to learn more about all technical details of the submission. Failure to comply with the procedure will entail the non-eligibility of your proposal.
- The Application Form has to be validated on SYNERGIE CTE at the latest by 11th January 2016 at noon (GMT +1).
- The uploading of the compulsory annexes on SYNERGIE CTE has to be completed at the latest by 11th January 2016 at noon (GMT +1).
In order to avoid any delay upon the signature process leading to a possible risk of ineligibility, the Interreg MED Programme Joint Secretariat invite all lead partner applicants to start filling the application form on Synergie CTE as soon as possible.
You are warmly invited to study the SYNERGIE CTE guide dedicated to the pre-application phase of Horizontal projects to facilitate the drafting of your proposal in the monitoring tool.
According to the provisional calendar established for the call, the approval of the projects is foreseen in September 2016. Applicants are invited to establish as starting date for their projects October 1st, 2016.
In order to draft your proposals, it is imperative to study carefully all Programme documents, including the Cooperation Programme and the Programme Manual, as well as the specific documents related to the call, including the Terms of Reference, the expressions of interest letters to be signed by partners and the courtesy application form template.
