The overall objective of the project is to promote the implementation of innovative green energy solutions in business/industrial networks/parks that utilise local renewable energy sources.

The project will capitise the results produced by the operation of the pilot application developed by DUTH within project “ENERGEIA”, which is a strategic Co-Funded Project of the European Territorial Cooperation Programme Greece-Bulgaria 2007-2013. The pilot application includes a hybrid solar/geothermal power plant that utilises solar parabolic collectors and Organic Rankine Cycle turbine and produces thermal and electrical energy.

The main output that the project will produce is to increase business sustainability through increase of the use of renewable local energy sources that will reduce the levelised cost of energy and therefore support the business competitiveness and growth in the MED areas.
