Soustainable tourism/natural and cultural heritage

The Savio Valley Municipalities Union is made of 6 towns: Cesena, Bagno di Romagna, Mercato Saraceno, Montiano, Sarsina, Verghereto.
The Union is a local authority with statutory autonomy within the framework of the principles established by the Constitution, the national and regional laws.
In particular, the Union aims to organize and manage in an integrated manner some of the major functions entrusted to municipalities, with the intent to align, at the regional level, the provision of different services. It aims therefore to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services for the citizens.The Union of Municipalities is in charge of services such as informative, social, civil protection, environmental and help desk services.
The common thread among these municipalities is the Savio river, this blue corridor unifies 117 000 citizens on 810 square kilometres.

The Savio Valley Union intends to take part to a Med Project as partner focused on one of these topics:

– Natural heritage protection and/or promotion
– Cultural heritage renovation and/or promotion (Pilgrim routes…)
– Sustainable tourism linked to the natural and cultural heritage of the territory
– Energy efficiency and renewable energy resources, especially in public buildings

we are a regional authority in North Aegean region, Greece and we are interested in your project proposal since we have an area of 9 islands in the Aegean sea as you 6 municipalities.
