Social Enterprise “Thrakis Kinitro”, which is located in North Greece, wishes to participate as project partner in testing, capitalising or integrated projects proposals that have a social dimension. Our social enterprise is a founding member of the Network of Social Enterprises in the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace in which it currently holds the Presidency and therefore can contribute to the bottom up dissemination of policies and practices.

Primary aim of ‘Motivate Thrace’ Social Enterprise is the provision of innovative and smart solutions to social issues of the local community, making use of all available funding schemes. Key sectors of interest include:
    a. Sustainable and quality employment and labour mobility: Access to employment for job-seekers and inactive people; integration into the labour market of young people; self-employment, entrepreneurship; equality between men and women; adaptation of workers and enterprises; active and healthy ageing; modernisation of labour market institutions.
    b. Social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination: Active inclusion; integration of marginalised communities such as the Roma; equal opportunities; enhancing access to services; social entrepreneurship; CLLD
    c. Education and training: Preventing early school leaving and equal access to early-childhood, primary and secondary education; access to tertiary education; life-long learning, vocational education and training
    d. Support and networking of social and solidarity actors: Enhancing the cooperation of social enterprises and solitary actors through the Network of Social Enterprises in the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace (in which Thrakis Kinitro is a founding member and currently holds the presidency), exchange of best practices and experiences, etc
    e. Institutional capacity: support to reforms and better regulation, capacity building for public sector and stakeholders.
As for as we are concerned, employment opportunities respecting the man and his/her particularities, social assistance and placing the individual and labour above any profit consist our stepping stones and our fundamental principles. We also encourage the bottom-up process and provide facilities for the involvement of stakeholders.
