    Dear all,
With the necessity of moving towards a low-carbon economy being more and more apparent and the “smart” practices offering alternative solutions in citizens’ every-day challenges, the Project Proposal aims at increasing the public authorities’ and other stakeholders’ capacities and at creating favorable circumstances to further exploit resources towards low-carbon multimodal transportation.
The Project Partners will evaluate and possibly update their existing Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans or the transport section of other sustainability plans, and they will assess their existing models of transport. Each participating area will study and conclude to the best suiting multimodal low-carbon transport scheme for it, including Mobility As A Service (MaaS) related provisions and a Governance model will be developed.
Through ICT and ITS applications, the Multimodal Low-Carbon Transport Scheme will operate, combining provision for environmental friendly choices but also introducing the innovative MaaS approach to the citizens.
During the Project’s final phase, two toolkits will be delivered by the Partnership, each participating area will develop a replicable economic-technical study for EU and IPA administrative authorities, etc. During the Project’s life, related stakeholders will receive training to increase their capacities in Low-Carbon and Multimodal Mobility, exchange visits and experience sharing events will be conducted, etc.
We would prefer Partners from Spain, France, Portugal, and most suitable for the Project are considered partners such as urban Municipalities, Regions, Regional Units, Municipalities’ unions, etc.
We would be happy to hear from you,
Please write to Mrs Konstantina Pantziou, k.pantziou@comncom.gr
