Coherently with the specific objective 2.3 of MED Programme Osimo Municipality would like to became partner in a project proposal aiming at providing effective solutions to persistent problems of the Mediterranean such as the capacity to use existing low carbon transport systems and multimodal connections in cities.
The Municipality of Osimo is located on the middle East of Italy (Marche region), near the Adriatic Sea coast, with a population of over 30.000 inhabitants.The municipality is now strongly engaged in the improvement of its policies, in order to make them more sustainable. The 18th June 2015 it officially became member of the Covenant of Mayors and now it is working in the definition of its Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP).
