Federica FrancaThe Province of Pesaro as lead partner of the SOS Med School project is looking for partners (local authorities) for the ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT OF SCHOOL BUILDINGS.
S.O.S MEd Schools project faces the challenge of exporting in the hole Mediterranean area a common methodology for integrated energy management in schools, through the software S.E.A.S.
S.E.A.S. (Simplified Energy Auditing Software) is an open access tool for energy audits of residential and office buildings, developed by the University of Pisa (Department of Energy, Systems, Territory, and Construction Engineering), in collaboration with ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy, and Sustainable Economic Development), funded by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.Planned project duration is 36 months.
S.O.S MEd Schools project objectives:
1. Guidelines on energy audit of schools.
Our proposal is to define a unified and inexpensive procedure for an energy audit of the school in Mediterranean area.
2. Professional training.
New experts are needed to train on the procedure of energy audit of school buildings. They will be also formed on energy management and nZEB (near zero energy buildings) design.
3. Participation.
We aim to involve local administrations and their own operators in the process of energy audits and planning nZEB schools.
4. Green Public Procurement Criteria.
Local public officials and managers will be provided with assessment tools in order to include the nZEB measures in the GPP.
5. In-service training for Public Officials.
The project aims to train local public personnel on:
a) Energy Service Contracts (Energy Supply or Energy Performance Contracting) between local administration and ESCo (Energy Service Company); b)opportunities to access EU funding for energetic efficiency actions.
6. Agreement protocols and creation of a regional school buildings registry.
The expected results and outcomes of the project are: a)the creation of guidelines on energy audits of schools buildings in the regional community planning; b) the development of a online “regional cadastre” of school buildings tool.We are looking for
1. Local authority that have signed the Covenant of Mayors
2. Local authority that manages at least 5 schoolsMany thanks for your attention,
regards,
